Greetings Inchoates,

Allow me to introduce myself–I am the Gruesom Grimp, and I’m a work of ficiton.  But, then again, aren’t we all!

I’m most notorious for my chaos punditry and for managing the brutal metal act A Band of Orcs.  I’ve been a multidimensional traveler and inter-cosmic entrepreneur from many aeons. Since I’ve planted myself in this universe to oversee the activities of A Band of Orcs and help them bring about the prophesied Domination, and more specifically, since I now call the Vortex located in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California my home, I have become involved in a heavy metal collective known as S.C.U.M. (Santa Cruz Underground Metal).  So, in addition to being the orcs’ handler I also am the Executive producer of the S.C.U.M. CD compilations, which aims to be a CD collection of local bands given away for free each year in order to show case the great metal talent and build the metal scene around these parts.

My partners in grime are Daniel from the band WarCorpse, Jesse of Morketiden Productions, Kevin of Slow Roasted Recording, Colt of SaloSopor.com, and Robin from the Digital Media Factory.

I should also note that last year all the bands on the comp also contributed greatly to the successful execution of S.C.U.M.Fest, the CD release party that launches each volume of S.C.U.M.
